Structural Specialists Inc. was selected to perform the Post-tensioning alteration and concrete slab cutting & hauling so to create a new private staiwell connecting the level currently occupied to the lower level being leased and fit-out. In order to speed up construction we were asked to re-design the structural aspects of the alteration which was executed on the run and totally removed the need for a partial concrete infill and a reduction in the structural steel needed to support the edge. Work was performed off work hours and was expedited by self performing the entire scope from shoring, PT alteration to the cutting and hauling of the concrete.
